successful campaigns, Beth Schapiro
approaches every challenge from a

government, and advocacy clients

accomplish their strategic
objectives. Beth has earned a
reputation as a trusted media
resource. She is called on for
commentary by CNN, FOX, USA Today,
The New York Times, the
Los Angeles Times, Roll Call,
the Atlanta Journal-Constitution,
and the Savannah Morning News,
among others. Beth has also served
as a trainer at strategy workshops
conducted by the Yale Campaign
School for Women, Southern Women in
Public Service, Human Rights
Campaign, League of Women Voters,
and other leadership organizations
throughout the United States. Beth
is a member of the American
Political Science Association. She
holds a BA in Education from the
University of Maryland, and an MA
and PhD in Political Science from
Emory University. An active
community volunteer, she is a
graduate of Leadership America,
Leadership Atlanta and the Regional
Leadership Institute. Beth is a
member of the Leadership Atlanta
Board of Trustees, Atlanta Rotary,
Atlanta Women’s Foundation Alumnae
Board, and the Atlanta Dream
Ambassadors – the volunteer force
behind Atlanta’s WNBA team. She is
former president of the Cool Girls
board and Women Business Owners of
Atlanta.
James Parker, PhD
Senior Strategist
James “Rusty” Parker is trained in
applied social research and uses
advanced methodologies and analyses
to produce effective, useful
results. He is a former research
associate and manager of the call
center at Baylor University's Center
for Community Research and
Development. Rusty has published
articles in peer-reviewed journals
such as the Journal for the
Scientific Study of Religion,
Public Works Management and Policy,
and Sociology of Religion,
and his work has been honored by the
Southern Sociological Association
and the Southwestern Sociological
Association. He holds a BA in
Sociology and Economics, an MA in
Sociology, and a PhD in Applied
Sociology from Baylor University.
